My body is…
Months ago I had a great conversation with Valentina Gaia Lops (@valentinagaialops), a photographer working with Bruno Vinhas on The Body House Project (@thebodyhouseproject) I volunteered to participate by sharing my story of body shame and self-hate. It was lovely, affirming and engaging. When she asked me to complete "My body is..." I spontaneously said "mine." That is how I feel. An adjective wouldn't do it for me, reclaiming means taking my body back.
